July 18th at 10am - Age Divisions- 5/6th grade, 7/8th grade and High
School Division- click here.
*ASK for Dana or Carl when calling to book. The host hotel for the 2008 tourney will be the Country Inn & Suites in
Tinley Park, IL. Tell them you are with the Wiffle Fest tourney
and you will get the special rate-$99. This includes the
deluxe continental breakfast:
bacon, sausage, make your own Belgium waffles, yogurt cold cereal,
juices and much more. They will also be at the adult tourney on Saturday with goodies
that morning. They are great partner of this tournament, so I
recommend every team who needs a hotel to please contact them.

*Pre-Wiffle Fest Party - Friday, July 18th - 5th Quarter Bar &
Restaurant (18105 Dixie Highway, Homewood, IL - 708-798-2710).
Each team that attends will get a FREE 18" pizza. The party
starts at 7pm and activities will begin at 7:30pm. The 5th Quarter
is a great local spot in the middle of downtown Homewood to hold our
first annual party. Everyone is welcome, but only players over 21
may consume alcohol.
Activities at the party: All-Star Team announcements (will
receive shirts), team introductions with bio's, tourney draw
announcements, team check-in (shirts and information), more activities
tba and a good time of course.

NEWS:
Home Run Derby Bats - The Moonshot wiffle bats will be used for this
event. These are handmade fiberglass bats used for power.
Wiffle balls have reportedly traveled 160 feet!
New award this year: Best Team Name
All-Star team members will get Wiffle Fest All-Star shirts if they
return to the tourney each year. We will hand out them out to the
06 team prior to the tourney.
